Clark always admired how Bruce could handle people.
Most people would assume that Superman was the one who was good with people, but they'd never seen Bruce when he was actually trying. Most of the time, Batman was standoffish and quiet, but when there were kids involved, he was an entirely different person.

Jason snorts, sudden like even he's surprised by it. "Sorry, uh. Timmers and I don't have the same kind of relationship you guys do, I don't think."
Jazz slumps. "I was afraid you'd say that."
