There's a psychological reason we trust animals more than we trust other people. Animals don't judge us based on our looks, class or backstory. Most animals just want to be loved. Animals can be domesticated with enought love. There just might not be enough love on the plant to domesticate Aj.

Does Gangle even count as alive? Do any of them? What does anything even mean? What counts as life? What counts as being human?
It felt like her lungs and her bones were being constricted. Two things she also didn't even have in this body. It was so flimsy and pathetic – she was pathetic.
She wanted to cry and scream and sob, but her "throat" felt like it was closed up and her eyes felt a strange combination of empty and full, yet unable to release anything.

When episode seven came to its tragic conclusion, the atmosphere of the colourful circus contrasted its playful appearance. Even the sky looked down at the digital prisoners with pity. Zooble took it terribly, and with the whirlwind of thoughts of emotions boiling up inside of them, they couldn't find a reason to keep going.
