Dazai doesn’t have time to react before Chuuya slams him against the wall, the rough brick pressing against his spine. The redhead is breathing heavily, his face flushed from the wine and eyes blazing with emotions Dazai can’t interpret, and with a vicious sort of satisfaction he thinks for a moment that he’s finally done it. That he’s pushed Chuuya too far, that he’s finally going to get what he deserves–
But then Chuuya yanks Dazai down by his tie and kisses him.

When Chuuya became an executive and moved into his penthouse, he bought a bigger bed. It doesn’t matter much because the only person he really wants to share it with is as good as dead (but not dead, never really dead, that piece of shit would survive a nuclear winter along with the cockroaches, but he is still so far out of reach, even if to this day Chuuya is getting calls from random, heartbroken women). In between fucking on cramped single mattresses and couches and supply closets in HQ, they had never known the luxury of a bed that could fit the both of them. He had thought it’d be a nice change, if he ever had the chance again.
OR: nakahara chuuya falls in love, christens every part of yokohama, gets together with his ex-partner, and participates in a prison break. in that order, more or less.

Summary
“What do I think?” He asks lightly.
“Yeah,” Dazai leans back a bit and presses a socked foot into Chuuya’s hip. “Don’t you wanna fuck me, Chuuya?” It’s asked innocently. It feels like jabbing a finger into an open wound.
Chuuya blows his smoke to the ceiling despite Dazai tilting forward and opening his mouth. Dazai makes a little tcht sound at him.
“You want to fuck me?” Chuuya asks.
Dazai doesn’t drop his eyes. “I trust you.” He repeats.
Chuuya had asked Dazai once how many times he thought you could break a person before they stopped trying to put themselves back together, stopped trying to pick up the pieces and left themselves shattered.
Depends how cruel you are, Dazai had answered after a long moment, you can still break pieces.
Chuuya is pieces and his edges are sharp.

It lures him in like a beacon on a stormy winter night, the ever tender skin under his tongue, the vestige of intimacy he's tasted on those chapped lips far too many and too few times before.
He's always hated it, how easy it was to forget every awful thing about his partner once their bodies were tangled in the soft haven of quiet rooms where hands only long to touch and mouths lose words against one another, but he's helpless to it all the same.
Or, the first time Chuuya takes Dazai back into his bed four years after Dazai's betrayal of the port mafia.
