Continuing after the battle, Mike deals with the aftermath of the events.
Mike Schmidt could have had an easy life, but when he was twelve years old, that potential was taken from him. When his brother Garrett was taken, it set his life on an entirely different path, which led to him finding himself sitting in a police interrogation room, handcuffed, fresh from having his wounds stitched up at the hospital where his friend was still laying in a coma. The charge? Murder. The victim? He didn’t actually know. He hadn’t actually killed anyone, he was pretty sure of that. It’s a good thing someone was going to come to his rescue yet again.

Rare pair week 2024 request for Sephiroth/Elfe - Unexpected Challenges. I checked with the requester if they were okay with AUs. I hope they won't mind this Dredge one, as I've been playing that a lot.
Sephiroth and Elfe's ship crashes in Greater Marrow and their ship is destroyed, leaving Elfe injured, and them saddled with a debt for the "new" ship they are given.
