Spoilers for Persona 5.
An Alpha/Beta/Omega Dynamic AU, where the Phantom Thieves did not gain the power of Personas, but instead turned to vigilante justice and killing their targets. Goro Akechi is tasked with finding and unmasking these criminals and bringing them to the 'justice' that Shido demands. Of course he's suspected the male on campus that he shares coffee with on occasion. The intelligent, quiet type that has such an intense demeanor to him. It's hard not to, especially when things start to line up perfectly. Things never go easy for him, of that, he should be well aware of by now.
Rated E for future chapters.

Joker was the first one who saw it, the alarm in Oracle's voice making everyone else turn back around to her, but he was already with one foot on the steps and suddenly found himself face to face with the most unsettling grin he had ever seen (and he had seen Igor's), staring up from below him.
There was a creature crouching in the dark of the escalator, black-and-white patterned, sharpened body bent backwards on all four and red eyes glowing at him so hungrily, Joker felt a shiver run down his spine, cold and deliciously thrilling.
Akechi gets frozen in battle, but thankfully his rival happens to be around - Loki goes to fetch him.

Something inside Akira’s chest cracks open.
“Shut up,” he breathes.
The Metaverse answers his command almost instantly. Before Akechi can react Akira grabs his coat collar and yanks him forward, launching the two of them bodily onto the front steps of Maruki’s Palace.Akira has finally had enough of Akechi's bullshit; they resolve it the only ways they know how.

For someone who spent as much time on his phone as he did, he seemed to have surprisingly little idea about what actually moved and interested his fans.
“I can’t believe it,” Ann giggled. “Like you haven’t had enough rumours flying around about yourself already.”
“Mh, yeah,” Akira agreed, half-heartedly.
If he was being honest, he didn’t mind those rumours at all. He didn’t mind the subtle tweets, posted in conspiratorial tones as people tried to figure out who the mysterious, pretty boy next to Akechi Goro was. Was he a friend? A never-before-seen brother? God forbid, a date?

“Okay, well Friday might work. I’m Ann, by the way. I’ll bring one of these guys with me.”
Her voice echoes, drawing Goro’s attention away from this mysterious stranger. Only to be brought back a second later when he says. “I’ll come along.”
“Oh. if you insist,” Yusuke says flatly. He always does hate anyone stifling his creative process.
But Ann does seem to be uncomfortable with going alone, which he can perfectly understand. “I’ll be using the studio on Friday as well.”
Yusuke gives him an odd look; he doesn’t normally stay after school on Friday, but happenstance has it that his mother is busy so their weekly dinner is moved to Sunday.
“Great, we’ll see you then. Oh, I’m Akira Kurusu,” says the dark haired boy, who smirks just a little at his own introduction.
