Let her rot in the streets, if she’s mad her Piltie girlfriend left her ‘cause she was too much of a numbnuts to do what needed to be done, to finally do away with her good-for-nothing not-sister. Don’t want her dead, don’t want her alive - can’t live with her, can’t live without her. Pathetic, in the end, torn between Topside and Bottom, at war with her insides over whether she should be a cop or not.
Jinx bumps into a feverish Vi on one of her midnight walks.

"Love you," Powder whispers, even as she yawns, tiny fists going lax as she gives up the fight to stay awake.
Her head is still damp with sweat, her cheeks still flushed red from illness. She's the most beautiful thing that Violet has ever seen, she always has been.
"I love you too, Powder," Violet whispers right back.

When he finally made it back onto the bus, he collapsed into his seat, exhausted and shivering despite the stuffy heat. His whole body ached, his head was pounding, and the idea of sitting through an entire medical conference tomorrow made him want to curl up and die.
And yet, the worst part?
He didn’t even know why, but a dull homesickness was gnawing at the edges of his exhaustion, like an itch he couldn’t scratch. Maybe it was because he felt so miserable, or maybe it was because being sick on the road sucked.
But either way, for some godforsaken reason, he kind of… wanted to talk to House.
