“Damn it,” Alex grumbles, kicking at an empty chair until it skids across the floor. “Come on, guys. There has to be someone who can go undercover. Any woman under 30 at this bureau who can put on some makeup and twirl in a circle.”
And then all eyes, inexplicably, go to Kara.
“Who?” Kara asks, looking back and forth between Alex and Vasquez and surreptitiously brushing the Cheeto dust from her pants. “Who is it, guys?”
But Alex and Vasquez just keep staring at her silently, matching grins on their faces, and after a few seconds the horrible truth dawns on her. Kara blinks, looking down at herself and then back up at them.
“But…I’m 31?”

With the new emergence of faces in National City, it also brings in a world of new foes along the way: magic, demons, and dragons. Summary
The inspiration for this series can be found by, honestly, just searching through other series and stories available on A03. There's far too many to name, but I'm grateful for all the authors out there writing because they gave me the hope and inspiration to write my own. So, thank you. Truly.
I know one of my main inspirations came from RomanoffonamoR. If they hadn't so absolutely amazingly written the whole heartmates, soulmates, Maria hiding her status situation, I don't think I would have dreamt this up. So, thank you to them so so completely.Also, I'm going to be adding Harley Quinn to this. I do not like DC, I do not know almost anything about the DC Universe, but I absolutely love Margot Robbie's rendition of Harley. I also see a lot of shipping Deadpool with Harley and I love it so much. I don't care if you like this idea or not, 'cause I'm doing it. I just watched the newest Suicide Squad movie and I'm so in love with her performance.
My opinion of Littles is ages 0-6, Middles are 7-16, and Bigs are, well, adults.

She doesn’t give him one.
“So?” She looks ahead at the intersection. Focusing on pushing in the clutch and shifting through the gears when it’s her turn to go.
“I just… I wasn’t sure if you knew. And thought maybe it’d be something you’d noticeably react to -- once you found out. And, well, what if you found out from Lena and reacted in front of her? So I--”
“Why should I care if her last name is Luthor?” Kara cuts him off.
“Kara--”
“Lionel didn’t even get charged. The evidence was circumstantial at best,” Kara dismisses as she takes a corner just a tad too fast.
“Kara, her dad was the main suspect in your entire family’s murder.”
