Having lost his home and hateful of the man in front of him, the lucky dog sinks his teeth in the gambler's outstretched hand, without knowing the odd price he'll have to pay for this act of defiance- and the many that will follow.Markus’ voice was rougher than before. "That composure of yours would be so entertaining to break down. I'd make you cry and I'd make you beg for more, Connor, you wouldn't know what hit you."
“Maybe I’d let you try,” said Connor.
Markus' eyes held a dark promise. Connor could feel that heat rising between them, could feel the warmth radiating off Markus' body, could feel the air moving with the rise and fall of their chests. Markus' fingers relaxed around Connor's shirt. Connor had expected him to grab his face or press up against him, but Markus pulled back. He swept his hands down his suit to smooth out the wrinkles, and calmly said: "Maybe later."
Connor couldn't stop the word from escaping his lips. "What?"
Markus' smile was back to its infuriating tilt. "Did you really think I was that easy?"Series

Connor’s heart drops. She’s right to be sending him. He’s malfunctioning in some way. There’s something wrong with him. Still, he can’t help asking her, “For what purpose?”

Her eyes flick over him like a man judging the worth of a disobedient dog and her lips curl like she’s bitten into a rotten lemon. “For deactivation and disassembly, of course."

Connor, once becoming deviant, is lost and doesn't know who he is anymore. The only way he knows how to cope is by reminding himself of who he is. Luckily, Markus is there to help him along with Hank, Connor's partner at work. Little do the three know, something even bigger is brewing in the background, something that will affect the lives of everyone in Detroit.

Summary
Connor and Markus were among a number of individuals who have been trained to become highly-skilled assassins since their childhood days up until their teenage years. After a few years of being out in the field, Markus finally decided to walk away from a life of violence and death. It hadn’t been easy, but he’s now contented with his new life where he’s surrounded by good friends and a father-figure.
On the other hand, Connor had risen to become the best in their ranks. But over the years, the endless cycle of following orders, survival and death has started to take its toll on him. After he is discovered to have deliberately gone against a mission directive and is ordered to be hunted down, he knows that the only way he comes out of this alive is to bring down the very organization that made him who he is now. But the question is, can he do it alone?

What the public doesn’t know is that a Cyberlife facility in Detroit is holding dark secrets behind locked doors.
Connor and Markus do know about these secrets, they have been their live for as long as they can remember.
They have been told this is normal. They have been told this is for a greater good. They have been told they don’t have a choice. And they hadn’t. They never had.

Summary
Second year college student Markus chose a bio Minor. First year college student Connor chose an art Minor. Markus sucks at bio and Connor sucks at art- what a convenient (and in Connor's case, unfortunate) set-up to tutor each other! Somewhere along the way the flirty airheaded art aficionado and the cold stuck-up science nerd start getting closer, and so do their friends. The conclusion would be an easy one to reach for Markus' effortless charm... If only Connor wasn't trapped so irremediably deep in the closet.
"Buddies," echoed Connor flatly.
Markus brought a hand to his chest in fake hurt. "Is that not what we are?"
"I didn't get the memo, no."
"You wound me."

Summary
The free androids of Detroit start building their brand-new future, but peace is only relative in the troubled times that follow a revolution. One of the major figureheads of the revolution and finally a deviant, Connor now has to learn how to handle free will. The AI that both guided and punished him is gone, but at a price, and he struggles with his newfound freedom when guilt and fear are the crumbling foundations of his new life.
They say they want him there with them, but Connor can't understand why. He's afraid of himself and what he's capable of, afraid that maybe these feelings don't have their place within him.
Despite all the doubts he may have, Connor finds that he desperately wants to live, because whenever he feels himself slipping and falling, they're here to catch him.

It's almost prom time at Cage High, where Connor Stern resides as the primary scapegoat. He's painfully awkward, and not to mention extremely isolated compared to the rest of his classmates; who, for as long as he can remember, have oppressed or ignored him on a daily basis. Life at home is no better, complete with subjection to torment from his piously over-zealous mother, who sees sin in almost everything there is in the world. He yearns for a change, something that will break the monotonous hellhole of a cycle he's trapped in—little does he expect it to come in the form of an embarrassing incident in the school showers, that ends up awakening something new within him.
Something powerful. Something dark.
Something he thought to be long repressed.
He doesn't know where it came from. All he knows is that he doesn't want to give it up.
