Summary
A martial god wasn’t very in-demand, never mind one that had most of his powers sealed away. What else could he help with? Wealth? No, he’d never been interested in money. Good fortune? It wasn’t as if he had any to give out, thanks to the cursed shackle. Maybe ‘clearing away your scraps’ god? No, too much of a mouthful. What a conundrum.
Still, it was time for a change in vocation. The question was, Xie Lian sighed, hoisting his rake over his shoulder and looking out over his fence across the wide sea of paddy fields - to what?
-
In which Xie Lian attempts to switch from martial to sex god. Along the way, he runs into a red-robed youth in an ox-cart who proves to be very helpful.

He's sixteen and in the woods on the wrong side of the town-line and he's so fucking fucked.
He knows he's not supposed to run, they teach that to you in preschool (don't run from a Were, back away slowly and walk with care), but they never told you how it would feel, standing alone in the dark with your heart beating in your throat as those glowing eyes tracked you from the shadows.

Summary
The game was finally starting to move into Dorian's favour when the meaty thudding sounds of something heavy hitting flesh drifted across the courtyard. Commander Cullen looked up sharply, with something in the keen, alert tilt of his jaw reminding Dorian incongruously of the well-bred coursers that his mother had so loved, then Cullen glanced back at their game.
"Qunari mating habits," Dorian suggested, just to watch Cullen flush and scowl.
"Hardly. It's something about conquering fear. Inquisitor Adaar explained it to me. He was quite serious about it too. Very, ah, cultural.”

Summary
Cullen and Dorian's friendship deepens. Cullen is a romantic. Dorian is literally cold. Cullen is no longer certain what he would consider surprising. Mages and Templars working in perfect cooperation, perhaps. Evil and corruption disappearing into the ground along with the blight, blood magic falling so far out of favor it ceased to be. A united Thedas: that would be a surprise.
