Hyung. Rang barely opened his eyes to call out, but the blood choked in his throat and mouth, sticking his voice into unrecognisable syllables, and the homing wood that ran rampant in his blood sounded a shrill whistle in his ears that made him want to pierce his own eardrums.
And then Yeon turned his head to look at him as if he had finally noticed him, and the eyes he had longed for for centuries looked at him coldly, and he frowned, as if he didn't understand why Rang was looking at him like that.
"You said you know where Ah-eum is?"
The celestial gumiho turned around and asked as he walked towards that one-legged demon in big strides, his black robes rolled out the wind in the air.
Yeon never look back at him again.
