Will swallowed loudly, Boris stepping forward to look closer. “According to her, this one—” Boris motioned to a line between Will’s index and middle finger. “Is your heart line, it shows me your emotions. For you, it’s long, deep and curving up; not broken.”
Boris was smiling again, thumbing the line lightly. “It means you are sensitive, and emotional.” Boris licked his lips, eyes flicking upward to look at Will. “Devoted.”

Now that Will’s sitting and Mike’s the one that’s standing, he looks impossibly tall. Tall and lanky, and huge. He should sit back down, Will thinks, lay back down next to Will and stay in their own secluded little bubble.
“I really want to kiss you,” Mike says, and Will’s eyes snap back up to his so violently he thinks he hears his own neck crack with the force of it.
“Don’t,” Will croaks, before his brain has even processed the words. “Don’t say that.”
“Okay,” Mike says easily, still staring. And what the actual fuck is going on? Is Will hallucinating? Is the weed making him hallucinate? “So sausage and pepperoni?”
Will stares dumbly at him. “Um - yeah. Yes.”
“Cool,” Mike replies and then just turns around and leaves Will sitting dumbly in his own room.

Will meets a charming boy, whose defined black curls frame a face marked by deep bags under his eyes, a fluent vocabulary, a beautiful accent, and rich life experience, evoking a profound attraction in Will. Desperate to hold onto this feeling of being understood and seen, Will feels willing to risk everything, even his life.

Supernatural occurrences, in Akito’s opinion, were a load of crap. It didn’t matter how many ‘ghost hunting’ documentaries Ena and Mizuki coerced him into watching, his opinion wasn’t going to change. He believed in what was most logical and not much more. The supernatural could never factor into that.
…Unfortunately for said beliefs, 'the supernatural' was currently in his kitchen, in the form of a stranger in tattered clothes.
