Aether stands in front of the bulletin board in front of Angel’s Share, pinning his intense glare onto the missing person poster Amber set up for him. He looks at the poster with disdain. It hasn’t even been two days since that catastrophe in the ruin dungeon happened and he’s just returned to Mondstadt for the first time in weeks. Aether shuts his eyes and sighs, he must look like a hot mess. With his hair disheveled and in tangles and his eyes wearing deep, dark trenches underneath them, he bets he looks absolutely awful. No wonder why Katheryne gave him a strange look when he passed by the Adventurers’ Guild.
Even the most righteous of heroes will fall from grace.

Xiao did not understand the mortal fear of lightning. It was mundane, something so simple. His perspective of the world had changed entirely upon meeting Aether, so it wasn't unexpected that this opinion he had would change, too.
