Summary
In June of 2022, I decided, well hey, I want to try something new. Challenge myself. I thought: let's try and write a short story every day on Twitter, covering as much of the spectrum of queer love as I knew how.
It was meant to push me to write in a way I'm completely unaccustomed to. Short, quick, imperfect. I like to experiment, but the time and format constraints meant I had to do it FAST.
I didn't end up posting every day, but I posted more days than not! 19 out of 30 days saw a story (or part of a story; two of the stories had to be broken up into parts) from me. I didn't cover as many different aspects of queer love as I wanted, but I managed to hit a few of the big ones. This experiment, in short, was a success: I wrote quickly and imperfectly, and learned to let the stories go.
I don't know if I'll do it again, but it was absolutely worth trying just to see what I could accomplish; I hope you find the stories worth reading.

Summary
As a grease monkey turned college freshman, Dean's constantly three seconds away from being stressed out of his mind. It hardly helps that he's finally figuring out his sexuality in his thirties.
What might help with that stress is a little phone number (and a big credit card bill). If he can't figure out how to be bisexual in person, he can at least give it a go over the phone, right?
(It's probably a bad idea, but he really can't help himself.)

Summary
A Modern day Merlin AU set at the University of St Andrews, featuring teetotal kickboxers, secret wizards, magnificent bodyguards of various genders, irate fairies, imprisoned dragons, crumbling gothic architecture, arrogant princes, adorable engineering students, stolen gold, magical doorways, attempted assassination, drunken students, shaving foam fights, embarrassing mornings after, The Hammer Dance, duty, responsibility, friendship and true love...
This story was inspired by the thought of Prince William of Wales (and indeed the current Max von Hapsburg) studying at the University of St Andrews; it is also, as the title suggests, at least a little inspired by the operetta 'The Student Prince'.

::2019 note: This story was written BEFORE the TV show introduced the character of Gwaine. It's not that I can't spell, or that I'm perversely writing him out of character - I incorporated other characters from Arthurian legend (Kay, Gawain etc) into my story, and lacking prophetic abilities, my versions naturally don't mesh with the versions subsequently introduced into the show.::
