Summary
“Kazu-ha,” Scaramouche hiccups, voice hoarse and broken from his violent sobs. Kazuha hums at his name, but he stays still when Scaramouche makes no move to pull away. Silence looms over them like a threat of destruction, but Kazuha faces it without fear. And yet, he’s left thinking of every possibility — every line of inquiry that Scaramouche’s next statement can take them down.
“You have to leave,” the other boy chokes, but Kazuha can feel how Scaramouche’s grip on his shirt tightens at his own words. “Please,” he croaks, like the words struggle to come through.
“Why?” Is all Kazuha asks in return.
Scaramouche presses further into him, and Kazuha can feel his breath against the back of his neck. It’s not like the usual Scaramouche — no, not at all — but Kazuha has come to realize that the Scaramouche of today is nothing like the Scaramouche of any other day.
When he speaks, his voice is soft, barely even a whisper. Kazuha only hears it because it’s spoken into his ear.
“Because I can’t stand living knowing you’re wasting your life on me.”

Sethos cannot be trusted. Wanderer knows this, and yet, inexplicably, he finds himself opening up more to this Temple of Silence liaison. He knows, but is drawn evermore into those piercing green eyes, and sly smile, and the way he holds everyone at arm’s length while keeping them close as can be. He's interesting, he’s impressive, and Wanderer wants nothing to do with him while knowing everything about him. He hates it. He hates even more that he is going against his better judgment when he falls for him.

Summary
A year out of college, Scaramouche's life is great. He's got a one-bedroom apartment he shares with his wonderfully sympathetic boyfriend, Kazuha, going on their one-year anniversary, and a beautifully opportunistic office job just a twenty minutes' drive away. He's got everything he could ask for. His life is simple and manageable, and Kazuha reassures him he's inching away from the 'illness' that plagues him more and more each day, by the grace of God. He holds his life together by tape and tight corporate smiles, trying desperately to be the healed version of himself he so viciously wants to be.
He isn't, inescapably. The tape rips. Everything comes crashing down after that.

After having helped Buer in miscellaneous missions and having finished his Akedemia thesis, he was being dismissed for respite. And as he tosses and turns during the evening, Wanderer decides that even if he's been erased from Teyvat entirely, he wants to remind those who needed to hear it about his existence to fully regain their memories of him and what he's done. First on his list is his mother, the Electro Archon Beelzebul.
Wanderer didn't expect much to come from it, truthfully, but when the last member of the Kaedehara clan insists on getting to know him after a chance meeting, Wanderer feels old memories and old regrets burn deep and seep into him.
