One hand spreads flat over her chest, measuring the lengths of the shallow breaths she takes. Each one hurts. They're laced with residual fear and an ickiness her shower hasn't washed off, not to mention the familiar pain of unrequited, all-consuming love.
Because that is what she feels for him, she knows. Real, passionate, intense romantic love - not a crush, not lust. She's felt both of those before, and they didn't burrow into her and put down roots. Okarun is integral to the structure of her soul now. Funny that she should feel that way for a boy who isn't interested.
When he finally tells her to back off, it will destroy her.And yet… She's so greedy.

‘I like your hands.’ Maybe he really liked them. Was desperate for them, for pieces of her.
She takes another picture. Just of the back of her hand, fingers spread wide. Like one she’d take after getting her nails done. Soft, peach skin leading up to glowing green.
So innocuous. So, why’d it seem like it wasn’t? Like she was doin’ something more transgressive. Cracked open. Gooey bits on display.
Another span of silence. Was he takin’ the time to look at it? Swoop his eyes over knuckle and nail? Did he figure out what she’s tryin’ to say? Because you like it, I gave it to you. Maybe he’ll tell her what else he likes.
Momo and Ken finally buy some new phones, and immediately get up to no good with them.

Despite missing out on a golden opportunity, Ken refused to not at least give Miss Ayase his thanks. So with one little note placed inside a shoe locker, a bond is slowly built and two lives are slowly changed.
A No Power AU, where Ken misses out on his chance to follow after Momo, and decided to reach out in a different way.

Okarun hunched his shoulders up and ducked his head. This was it. He was going to get tossed out of her house, and she'd never talk to him again. "I'm sorry."
"No! Don't apologize!" The sternness in her tone startled him, making him jump as his eyes quickly searched for her's. "Look dude, I'm not tryin' to like… shame you, or whatever." At this, she took a seat on his futon and exhaled. "Gimme a sec, this ain't easy to ask."
"Ask… what, exactly?" He whispered. The anticipation was killing him. If she wasn't upset with him, then… what exactly was happening?
"I said gimme a second!" Momo turned back to glare at him, but there was no really heat in it. She shut her eyes and brushed her bangs out of her face. "Did you… need help? Down there..?"

Whimpering, fuck, he was actually whimpering–like it was killing him to drink so slowly of her, but he held himself in check all the same. Each word was like an oath, a curse and a gift in turn.
Hers? Could he really belong to her? He obviously believed it.
“I love you. Momo, I've missed you so much,” he gasped, finally leaning in and twining his hands over her chubby waist. With heated lips at her neck, he pleaded with a woman that didn't exist anymore, “Can I kiss you? Please? Please, I wanna taste you–”
