Summary
Daryl Dixon lead the kind of life that had many people thinking little of him. He grew up in a house that could never feel like a home with a mother who passed away when he was too young, a brother who dragged him into all kinds of trouble, and a father who would beat him for the littlest thing. He heard the rumors about his family his entire life, believing nobody could ever see him for more. It caused him to blindly follow his brother and got him into his fair share of trouble as well.
Daryl knew the town they lived in could never see him as more than some trailer park trash that would be better off wiped from existence. He knew the way they felt by the looks he received as he walked the streets of town. He knew from the not so quiet whispers around him through his school years. He knew just how badly people judged him from as early as he could remember, and he knew nobody could see him differently.
