“No, I’m not!” And that was the last time they ever spoke of it. (Really, when Newt looked back on it, they should have kept talking about it. He had been eight when those words had been exchanged. Eight year olds should not want to kill themselves.)

Summary
Percy and Luke have been together since Percy was a little kid. The nature of their relationship changed over time, but they were always close. After getting into college, Percy has nowhere to go, so he decides to move in with Luke. Their relationship is turbulent, and they need to separate. But loyalty is a flaw, and insecurity drives people to do unforgivable things. Neither of them can seem to escape really fucked up childhoods, and have brought it with them to adulthood, though Percy's still a kid. They're surrounded by friends and loved ones, but can't seem to enjoy anything in their lives. They each feel alone, but will they ever find comfort in one another? Or will they only hurt each other?

Will had never been a reckless person.
He had never snuck out of his house, or skipped school, or drank a sip of alcohol when he was under 21.
He always made sure to help his mom with the chores, he always took his vitamins, and was always on time for class.
"Come on, live a little!" He heard that from his friends a million times, but he didn't quite understand.
He loved his quiet little life, he didn't think anything was missing from it, and he wasn't looking forward to any of that useless adrenaline or danger kids his age were always after.
