Now that he’s forced to think about it, his veins burn. His stomach’s constricting against itself, has been for almost a week now, but Katsuki is arguably a little too comfortable ignoring it.
He knows what he’s doing. He might skirt the edge, but in hundreds of years he’s never truly crossed it.
“Kacchan.”
Or: Katsuki can shapeshift into whatever will get him what he wants from his victim of the night, and he never picks the same person twice. Eijirou manages to fall in love with who he really is.

Eijirou brought his hands to his head and groaned.
Waking up from cryosleep was always nasty business, but he’d gotten used to it after being put under a few dozen times. Back home, it had been a controlled process, with a whole crew of scientists monitoring him as the cryochamber systematically thawed him and woke him up in stages.
But this time, the ship had overridden that process, thawing him much too quickly and forcing him awake to flashing lights, a blaring alarm, and the words “HYDRAULICS SYSTEM FAILURE'' blinking red on the piloting screen. He’d had no choice but to pilot the ship to the nearest planet, through an unfamiliar atmosphere, before crashing and then stuttering to a halt on rocky terrain.
Hopefully, this was the right planet. A nice, habitable planet. One with air and water and optimal atmospheric conditions.
Astronaut Kirishima ends up stranded and alone on an uninhabitable planet. As his supplies dwindle and his sanity slips away, he finds help from an unlikely source.

One very real obstacle had thus far prevented Bakugou from swallowing a couple shots, dragging Kirishima back to his apartment, fucking him all night long, and potentially proposing marriage- though he'd wanted to do all of those things within a week of meeting the guy.
That obstacle was the fact that Bakugou didn't date. Not seriously anyway, and certainly not someone from his own team. He'd devoted every inch of himself to graduating at the top of his mechanical engineering class and being the best goddamn captain in the college football league, and he wouldn't have been able to accomplish either of those goals with the hottest man alive infiltrating his life. He'd managed to get a decent friendship going with Kirishima - close, but not too close - and that had kept the horny, lovesick itch at bay… up until recently, anyway.

Kirishima knew he should look away. Pretend to be distracted by the pool games or the conversation he wasn’t part of. But it was too easy to stay still, to watch Bakugou’s mouth move around words Kirishima couldn’t hear, to track the flex of muscle in his arms when he gestured a little too sharply.
The song shifted into something slower, deeper, and still Kirishima stayed where he was, letting the water lap lazily against his chest, letting the summer night blur into nothing but him.
Bakugou must have felt it, the weight of the stare, the way it stitched heat across his skin. His gaze flicked over, sudden and sharp, catching Kirishima full in the chest. For a moment, neither of them moved. The sounds of the party smeared into static. The only thing real was the way Bakugou looked at him, not surprised, not angry. Something else.
Something that crackled hot and immediate between them, almost visible.
Kirishima didn't smile. Didn’t pretend to be casual. He just held the look, let it speak for him.
I see you. I want you. I’m not sorry.
