The last part was said before James could stop himself, no self control left with all his anger leaking out. His eyes went wide and his own hand slapped over his mouth, trying to stop himself from saying anything more. Regulus’ arms dropped from their crossed position and his eyebrows shot up to his hairline. He stepped forwards towards James with a disbelieving smile on his face, looking unsure at what he had just heard while James prayed to the founders that he would not ask what James had just said. But of course, Merlin was against his luck.
“What the fuck did you just say?” Regulus asked through gritted teeth. “He could break me?”

“I could beat Richie!” Eddie stood up. “That’s why we won’t have to do this stupid challenge! Because I’d win!”
Richie crossed his arms and looked up at Eddie from his seat. He shrugged before speaking. “Then I challenge you to see who can go longer without cursing.”
