Summary
Everyone dies one day. Some fear the moment their time runs out, while others wait for death with open arms. Regardless how people feel about it, one thing is certain: it's inevitable.
As a soldier, he had no care for death. He knew it would come for him one day and he made his peace with it.
As much as he accepted death as a definite part of life, it would be a lie to say he never cared about what comes after death.

After the failed mission to kill Makarov, Soap lives. Only he can’t remember his time with Task Force 141 or Ghost.

Summary
It happens five days after Cas has returned, when Dean can’t hold it any longer. The words crawl their way up and out of his mouth like a monster, bringing nothing but pain and suffering, finally released into the empty between them.
“You don’t love me.” There is no questioning tone, there is no uncertainty. If anything, there isn’t many things that he was ever more certain about than this. This, he knows.

He looked at the man who wore the same white shirt, the same blue tie and the same trench coat he wore the last time and the day before that.
His black hair too, was the exact same mess, poking out into different directions like he spent the entire day grabbing and pulling at it. Dean wouldn’t know, maybe he did.
He knew nothing about the man, save for his appearance and obsession for chicken and potato.
And isn’t that the problem?
Because Dean wanted to know this man. -

He moved his fingertip across the letter for what felt like the hundredth time. He got the letter a week ago. He could open it now, or tomorrow, or in a year time. It didn’t matter.
Simon Lewis was gone and all Alec had left of him was the letter sitting in front of him.

Summary
Alec’s entire day was crazy with never ending phone calls, emails and grumpy, one worded demands from Magnus.
By the time he got home he felt as if he worked an entire week in one go. Also, he was sure about one thing. Magnus Bane was the literal devil.
He dropped himself onto his couch, not even bothering to get out of his jacket or shoes when his phone rang.
“Hallo?”
“Hey hermano. How was your first day at Bane?” Izzy asked enthusiastically.
“Hellish.” He said with a groan as he closed his eyes, they were probably red from staring at the screen the entire day.
“How come? People would literally kill just to work for Magnus Bane.” She sounded surprised and Alec didn’t blame her, in the morning he was sure it would be a great opportunity.
“Yeah, well, let me tell you, that after working a full day as his assistant, I would rather die than work for him another day.”

Magnus is a fashion designer/editor-in-chief of his own fashion magazine, Bane. Alec is his personal assistant with no clue for fashion who has the desire to become a writer one day.

He stood rooted to the spot, eyes wide in fear as he stared at the man in front of him.
He felt his heart beating in his throat, a fast, erratic thumping as fear clutched at his heart, squeezing the air out of him in a shaky breath.
He looked into the familiar golden amber eyes and knew that it was over.
His eyes moved to the gun pointed at him, cold and deadly as the man moved his finger, resting it on the trigger. -

Summary
His eyes landed on a man, standing only a few feet away from him.
“Why are you in my house?” He choked out.
“In your..wow. I, never even sank that low in my life.” The man bit out as he let out a short, bitter laugh.
“Wha-“
“Just because you decided you want a divorce; it doesn’t mean you will get the loft. It’s mine Alec and I won’t let you take it.”“Your loft?.. It’s not my home.” He said as he took in his surroundings, the unfamiliar furniture and decoration of a living room.
“I guess it hasn’t been in a while.” The man said.
“Wait.. a divorce?” Alec’s head snapped up as the words finally reached his brain fully.
“A divorce. Yes.
“I..How could I divorce you? I don’t even know you.” Alec breathed out as he looked into the stranger’s eyes.

“Just one drink.” Magnus asked with a grin as he snapped his fingers, a glass of something appearing in Alec’s hand. He looked down at the drink before vanishing it with an eyeroll.
“You always do this. You appear every couple of decades... aren’t you tired being rejected?” Alec asked as he tilted his head to the side.
“We both know it’s only a matter of time before you give in.” The man said with a smirk as he took a step closer to Alec, close enough so he could smell the man’s cologne.
“I wouldn’t be so sure. But suit yourself.” He said threw gritted teeth as he tried not to inhale the intoxicating scent.
“I have time.. in fact.. I have forever.” He said with a wink as he ran a finger around the rim of his glass, the light catching on his rings. Alec felt his heart beating faster at the sight of the black, painted nails.
“Well.. I guess it’s going to be a long lonely life for you then. Good night Bane.” He said before turning around and leaving the man behind.

“In front of all of you, there are stacks of papers. Please take a sheet and write either guilty or not guilty on the paper without adding your names. Fold the piece of paper in half once you wrote your vote on it. Once we have the votes from everyone, I will read them out one by one.”
***
“Alright.” Lydia said, standing once again at the front of the table with a small box full of papers. She grabbed one and opened it up before reading out loud.
“Guilty.” She looked around and dropped the paper on the table before grabbing the next one.
“Guilty. Guilty. Guilty. Guilty. Guilty. Guilty. Guilty. Guilty. Guilty. Guilty.” There was one last paper left in the box. She opened it, her blue eyes running over the word.
“Not guilty.”

"There is you, there is me, and then, there is the craving in between."
_______________________________________________________________________________________________
“You always have a choice.” Alec said looking into Magnus’ eyes without blinking.
“That’s very rich coming from you.” Magnus said with such a bitter venom in his voice that Alec felt something inside him snap.
He threw back the remaining drink, wishing for the familiar burn of the alcohol to take the edge of, but it wasn’t enough. It wasn’t strong enough to numb the pain, the hurt, the anger. It wasn’t enough at all. But when was it ever really?
“Fuck you.” He spat towards the older man, before pushing the empty glass onto the table.
He grabbed the man at the lapel of his jacket, yanking him closer to smash their lips together firmly almost in an aggressive, animalistic manner.

Alec is a senator, Magnus is his PR. At some point, the late night meetings turned into something more and none of them know how to stop it before it's too late. There is too much to risk. Too much to lose.

Summary
"Come in." Alec answered as he sat up straight, clearing his throat.
"There is a man here, looking to speak to you." Underhill said as he looked at Alec.
He was an other detective working at the precinct, currently involved in some drug-dealing-drama, which Alec was more than happy not to be involved in.
"Sure. Send him in." Alec said and watched his colleague stepping back out and letting a man to march into his office.
Alec wasn't sure if it was due to the way the man basically ran into his office or perhaps his extravagant appearance, coloured strikes in his hair, glitter and kohl around his eyes, not mentioning the teal coloured trench coat that flied behind the man in his hurry.
"Can I help you?" Alec asked with a frown and he wondered if it was a good idea to take out his authoritative voice straight away.
"I.. I have it on camera." The man panted as he held his phone in his hand. Alec had tried to focus on the man's words instead of his black painted nails and numerous ringers, but he was only human.
"What?"
"The murder.. I have it on camera." The man repeated once more as he looked into Alec's eyes.

Summary
He thought about the man every single day. The first few months were the hardest. There wasn’t a single corner of their block where he didn’t see the ghost of the man. Every time he stepped into a room, turned onto a corridor, opened a door, he desperately hoped to spot the man. It was something terribly selfish, he wanted the man to be free, to be out, but it didn’t mean he wouldn’t miss him. He didn’t know how much he meant for him until he was gone.
Missing someone who was absent from your life was hard. But missing someone who was part of your life on and off, was just agonizing. He didn’t want to see him, hear his voice or smell his cologne.
His memory was everywhere, in the books of the library, in the water of the shower, in the darkness of the movie nights.. and that was more than enough for his heart to bear.
He occasionally pondered how Magnus felt. Was he angry? Disappointed? Hurt? Or maybe happy? Relieved? He didn’t see Alec around himself in everything, he didn’t hear his laugh in the silence, and he didn’t feel the phantom tenderness of his touch on his skin at night. Magnus was free. Free of prison, free of Alec.
