Toph Beifong did not like admitting that she was wrong. She'd begged her parents to go to school, and now here she was, in a private academy full of other rich kids. She should've known they were right, that blindness in a place full of rich kids was a recipe for disaster. But Toph doesn't like when her parents are right, and she desperately wants company her age.
Luckily, a boy with a temper and a notorious scar she can't see comes along and proves that maybe she can find a friend, after all.or: Toph meets Zuko at a private school and they get closer than either of them ever expected to get with anyone. Too close, maybe.
