Ayato speaks with great rapidity and with each word, Thoma sinks furthermore into his clothes. It is true, he does not have the etiquette down to a T yet, but, oh lord, being scolded by a guest for his bad conduct is not what he expected.

he can’t take his eyes off of the male in front of him, the others eyes equally as wide.Diluc mumbles, in surprise. “it’s you-“ he starts, almost afraid to speak as if the blonde in front of him will disappear for good this time if he so much as speaks too loud.
Thoma’s lip wobbles, taking a few steps forwards to crash into Diluc, wrapping his arms tightly around the other as he lets out a sob. “it’s me.” he mumbles against Diluc’s shoulder, his own shaking in happiness and disbelief.
