Leo gave him time to elaborate. He did it out of pure habit and maybe to spite himself, because Usagi never elaborated.
“Okay. And where are Jotaro’s parents?” he asked, waving his hand in the air to indicate he needed a little more.
Mikey and Usagi exchanged a second look, which already promised complete disaster, so when neither of them managed a response, Leo walked over to the table and leaned over the child.
“Are you lost? You need help?”
Jotaro didn't even look up at him, fully focused on sucking all his juice through the straw at once, and when the carton finally emptied, he gasped for air as if he'd just drowned.

Summary
Usagi was tall, taller than most students, which earned him a spot on the school basketball team upon entry and the right to parade around school in a sweatshirt bearing its logo. He also had, befitting a mutant rabbit, comically large feet, thick white fur, and a flat, pink nose.
Leo was so sick of looking at the far less pleasant mutants every day that he almost called him “cute” out loud, biting his tongue at the last second. Luckily, because when Usagi finally noticed him, his mouth twisted into a wide, not at all friendly, smile.
“You're Leo, aren't you?” he asked, looking him over without trying to hide it. His nose twitched slightly. “Nice sweatshirt.”
Leo felt the ground slipping from under his feet.

Summary
Leo didn't like this boy. In fact, he hated him with his entire soul, and he has spent weeks nursing a sense of injustice and plain jealousy. But now, looking him in the eye, he couldn't remember any of it.
Maybe it was because Usagi seemed so genuinely excited to see him, or because he had that enthusiasm and hunger that Leo still vaguely remembered from his first roles. Maybe it was because he was so awkward, talked far more than he should, and seemed nothing like the person Leo had already created in his head.
Or, what made the most sense and was much more embarrassing: he was really pretty. Without that serious, almost pouty expression he wore in the movie, he almost charming.

Summary
Leo stared at the massive body for a good few seconds, his gaze traveling from the sickly pale, strange face to the remnants of a torn shirt on its scaly back to the far too large, wet bloodstain slowly seeping into the carpet.
He clasped his hands together and pressed his fingertips to his lips, closing his eyes for a moment.
“Why...?”
The situation didn't need a longer summary. But he needed explanations, and the yokai on the floor needed a lot of bandages and probably a quick blood transfusion.
“Who the hell is that?”
Usagi looked away and rocked slightly on his heels.
“Leatherhead.”
