Summary
Stiles Stilinski doesn't belong anymore. He finds himself on a long road trip across the country and ends up at Derek's, who is more than willing to let him stay. Together they try to find a way to stop the upcoming storm from devouring everyone at home.
Derek wonders if he can get Stiles to stay with him, if only for a little while. He never realized just how much he missed him until he shows up at his door, swaying with exhaustion and damp from the rain.

Summary
In a fantastical military state, Stiles, an orphaned nobody, street smart omega was rescued as a child by war hero alpha, Commander Derek Hale. Six years later, Stiles still maintains an obsession with taking care of himself and a blatant mistrust of alphas. Stiles becomes the first omega to be accepted into elite training with the Black Wolves, the military's special operations force. Derek has always intended to mate with Stiles and is furious at the idea of him entering training. However, Stiles' guardians only agree to allow Derek to mate with Stiles if he allows Stiles to attempt Black Wolves' training. Derek becomes Stiles' commanding officer and the war between them begins. Also a lot of fraternization.
(This is roughly based on the Demi Moore movie, GI Jane, and will be just as accurate in terms of military facts. It's likely this story will be highly offensive to anyone well versed in the real military- I'm not trying for accuracy. It's fantasy. You've been warned.)

Preview of Chapter 4:
“Someone who said they knew me?” Makoto questioned, eyebrows disappearing into his hairline as he followed her line of sight. Haruka tensed instinctively, shifting on his feet and when their eyes met, he quickly realized he’d been unprepared for this. Unprepared for the way the pulse point at his neck would race or the sudden surge of heat he’d feel creeping over his face as Makoto sat there, frozen and gaping at him.
“Oh? You’re here, Nanase-san?” Makoto inquired pleasantly, still startled even as he pushed himself up from the floor by his forearms. He stood, careful not to slip on the splattered oil or bump into his siblings, and Haruka’s eyes were immediately drawn to the smeared, pink apron he was wearing over his clothes. The outline of it had little, decorative paw prints and there was a cat face stitched right across the front breast pocket.
The shirt Makoto wore under the apron was too small for him. It strained around his broad shoulders and chest, causing the fabric to bunch up at his armpits, and subsequently reveal more of those lovely, toned biceps to Haruka’s heated gaze.
