“One evening. For one evening I’ll do…” She took a deep breath to steel herself. “I’ll do whatever you want.”
He stopped in front of her, looming over her body, close. So close that she felt his hot breath on the top of her head. Slowly, she looked up from the shirt on his chest and into his eyes. They were hooded, and darker than she remembered.
“Whatever I want?” His voice was hushed and deep, and she felt it in her bones.
“Yes,” she whispered, and did her best to still the fear and sick thrill of anticipation that had sparked inside her.
“Alright, Granger,” he said with a smirk, and then spoke in a low voice. “You’ve got yourself a deal.”
She had no idea what she had just agreed to.

Summary
Nine years after the war, Hermione is stuck in a dead-end job at the Department for the Regulation and Control and Representation of Magical Creatures. She’s helped many creatures during her time with the department, work that she is very proud of. Unfortunately, most of her efforts are brushed under the rug or portrayed in a negative light in the Daily Prophet.
To make matters worse, the head of the entire division is threatening to shut her department down. Her dreams of making a real difference in the wizarding world are crashing all around her. Until She’s given an almost impossible task by the head of ‘The Committee for the Disposal of Dangerous Creatures’: to help rehabilitate an “untamable creature” in exchange for his good word to keep her department open, provided he can take credit for her work if she’s successful.
It's her only hope to preserve what little she has.The only problem?
