Summary
"Ah, no," Ilya laughs softly. "No, we have been together for years. Three officially, but uh…"
"We've been together in some capacity since the summer before our rookie season," Shane finishes. "So around ten and a half years."
"Holy shit," Luca breathes. "Hollanov is real?"
"What?" Shane asks, nose scrunched and eyebrows furrowed.
"Nothing! Fuck, nothing. Forget I said anything," Luca sputters, now bright red and turning to hide his face in Troy's shoulder.

Summary
“I need you to stop beating up your dad, okay? He is very tired.”
“Can you tell her I need my beauty sleep, please?” Shane asks.
“You don’t need beauty sleep if you are already so beautiful.” he looks up at him, blinking his eyelashes dramatically. Shane just rolls his eyes as Ilya places a kiss on his stomach.
“Oh my god, get a room.” Hayden groans from behind them and Jackie smacks his chest light. The kids laugh at their father
“Getting a room is exactly how your best friend ended up like this, Pike.”
“Ilya!” Shane groans.
(ie. very close to Shane's due date, Ilya starts to notice a difference in his scent during a pool day with the pikes)

“The arena is just buzzing with nervous energy after that hit, ladies and gentlemen at home. And down on the ice, it looks like we have-...hold on…is that...
Ilya Rozanov…crawling to Shane Hollander?”
In which instead of Marleau, it is Ilya who crashes into Shane.
The way they choose to deal with the fallout surprises them both.

Summary
“I’m tired,” the little girl complains, skating from the group to hug Hollander’s knees.
Hollander huffs a quiet laugh. “Grandma will be here soon,” he says, picking her up, sitting her perfectly on his hip. She lays her head on his shoulder, and they look so alike, it's startling.
“Is that—Hollander,” Ilya says with disbelief. Hollander freezes, turning to look at Ilya. His brown eyes are wide, and he looks just as surprised as Ilya feels. “Is that your daughter?”
__Shane abruptly quits hockey and disappears off the face of the earth without a trace. When Ilya moves to the Centaurs, the last person he expects to see is Shane teaching a bunch of kids how to skate and play hockey with his daughter in tow.
