“我喜欢男人。”George坦陈地说，“我以为你知道这个的。”
“一开始并不知道，”Max看着灯光一阵阵地划过George精致的脸颊，他的睫毛纤长，嘴唇粉红，在暗色的灯光下就像是化了精致的妆一般。
"我很快就发现了，你看女人的眼神非常坦荡。"他指了指舞池里各种各样的人：“这里没有你喜欢的类型么？”
George认真地回答：“我一直没有固定喜欢的类型，感觉对了什么都对了。”
细长的香烟夹在Max的指间，猩红的光点在他微小的动作间明明灭灭。他看见George倚靠在沙发上，脸上带着那副混合着无辜与狡猾的表情，他吸了一口烟，然后缓缓地、刻意地拉近两人之间的距离，直到他的脸和George的距离只有半米不到。
他张嘴，将一个近乎完美的烟圈，轻轻地吐向George的脸。
那灰白色的烟雾圈带着Max的温度和气息，撞上George的鼻尖，然后轻柔地扩散开来，模糊了他漂亮的五官轮廓，像是给他蒙上了一层薄纱。
“Slut.”Max评价到。
“Stud.”George抬眼看向他。

No one bats an eye at them, not really. It’s an open secret around the paddock that they sometimes fuck when they’re not fighting and sometimes when they are fighting. It’s stress-relief, sex you don’t need to sign an NDA for. It works even if George causes him more stress than he relieves. At least he’s quiet with a dick in his mouth. Sometimes.

Summary
Several thousand years ago, King Yaldaboath purged the Unseelie from the Summer Kingdom and sealed the Barrier, permanently separating the two realms and sparing the Seelie from the Darkening, a wasting disease spread by the Unseelie. The Seelie lived in peace under the King's rule until, mysteriously, the Darkening began to return, ravaging outlying towns and stirring panic everywhere.
Tucked away in the Summer Court, Goro has more immediate concerns: pleasing his cold and duplicitous father, maintaining his toothless and friendly facade, and hiding his own treasonous aspirations. The arrival of an enigmatic new page certainly doesn't help things. Akira is magnetic and unusually interested in him and Goro finds himself increasingly distracted. When the Darkening comes to their front door, Goro and Akira set out to discover the cause of the outbreak, but the answers they find throw everything about the world as they know it into question.

“Yeah?” A tired smile quirks the corner of Akira’s mouth. “Do you have something in mind?” He tips his head, intending to catch Goro’s lips again, but Goro suddenly rises, leaving Akira’s entire front cold. He watches his boyfriend wander over to a stack of boxes with various cleaning tools laid out on top and he almost laughs. “Alright, I get it.” He starts to stand. “Let’s finish—”
“Sit.”
Akira’s body obeys automatically, dropping back down on the mattress before his brain can catch up.
Goro doesn’t even look back at him, wholly absorbed in contemplating the cleaning implements. “I must say—” he drawls, reaching out to select something, “—this place looks a lot different than it did the last time I was here.” He turns, revealing the feather duster cradled delicately in one hand. “Master.”

“Still are, sweetheart.”
“Fuck you.”
“See what I mean?” Met by two glares from both Akechis and a blank stare from his younger self, Akira decides to explain himself. “I know it’s hard to believe, but uh… we’re you. Just about twelve, thirteen years older.”

Or, thanks to some velvet room shenanigans, Akira and Akechi end up reuniting far before they're ready. They also end up meeting their older selves in the process. And then having sex with their older selves.
