Summary
Years ago, you worked in a daycare. Two animatronic coworkers became your closest friends and made it one of the best jobs you’ve ever had, but all good things come to an end. It was just a little while after you left the job when lawmakers kicked into high gear and animatronic rights began increasing by the day.
Today, despite moving back to the city where you once worked with them, you doubt you’ll ever see them again. The sweet, kind, innocent bots are probably off somewhere safe, caring for little ones and making the most of their hobbies now that they were equal to humans.
Then again, there's always a chance they stuck around.

Summary
The Quintesson drones that attack aren't the standard infantry models. The line collapses. They hit the forward supply depot with enough EMP to knock a front line bruiser out, which means First Aid goes down in the blast and only keeps emergency power.
Almost a year of gaining ground against the Quintesson invasion and the only thing that's surprising is that they haven't lost an engagement this badly sooner.
