Summary
Alhaitham puts Kaveh’s theory into question by pulling Kaveh into his lap, making him let out an embarrassing, high pitched yelp at the sudden movement. This Alhaitham is so much bigger than him, and his huge arms easily cage Kaveh’s small frame within his grasp. His legs easily slot around Alhaitham’s thighs. Kaveh is used to being the taller, elegant senior that his little Haitham looks up to, but under Alhaitham’s gaze, he feels like a little bunny staring into the predator’s maw. It doesn’t help that Alhaitham smells heavenly, a shockingly masculine, overbearing scent that makes Kaveh want to rub his thighs together.
“Of course, once the domain’s conditions are fulfilled, the occupants are usually spit right back out.”
Their new position puts Kaveh’s face right up to Alhaitham’s. His Haitham has always had beautiful eyes, green like the eyes in his hair, overlapped with the red of the setting sun, the shine in his eyes always especially when looking at Kaveh. Right now, the red in his eyes is so dark they look almost black, and it makes his eyes look particularly bright, anticipatory, hungry. Alhaitham is looking at Kaveh like he wants to eat him.

Summary
He had two reasons to live: his career as an architect and the webnovels he would read every chance he got. When one of these reasons goes away, he drinks himself into oblivion.
When he emerges from the darkness, he has been reborn as a Pari with clairvoyance from his favorite webnovel. More than that, he’s now a minor antagonist meant to die at the beginning of the novel proper. While Kaveh wouldn’t mind accepting his fate, his parents from this world sacrificed so much to let Kaveh live. Plus, Kaveh wants his favorite book characters to be happy.
His favorite characters might make him happy in return, but it will take divine intervention to make Kaveh want to live. Thankfully, there are a few gods who might be willing to force destiny to comply to the desires of mortals.
