"Did you ever do anything for Valentines?" Arthur asks, now slightly distracted by the realization that it was technically a holiday.
Parker sighs, rubbing a hand over his face, "Now where did that come from?"
"We're both bored out of our skulls here, don't tell me you want to watch the two off them canoodle all night," Arthur retorts. He would almost rather watch paint dry than see the two of them continue to eat each other's offered cake pieces.
"Nah, I've never been the type," Parker waves off. "I've been a bachelor for a good decade or so now Artie, you know this."

He paused after lowering his cup and took a calming breath. John had already made coffee and breakfast for himself, making a small meal for Arthur when he was under the weather was effortless. It was the least he could do, after everything.AKA, John tries to understand and help Arthur feel better.
