Here is a fanfic no one wanted nor asked for but you’re getting it anyway. Since watching Dalgliesh I’ve been unable to get the idea for this fic out of my head. Seriously it’s been sat in my drafts for nearly three years as I debated if I should post it or not. But after much thought I’ve finally decided to post it. Just hope neither Bertie Carvel nor the PD James estate ever see it.
Like the series I’ve screwed around with cannon. So Miskin isn’t on the team (Don’t get me wrong I love her, but this fic just didn’t work with her.) As this is sort of a what if Miskin never joins Dalgliesh the events of A Taste For Death play out differently meaning Masterson isn't replaced.
