Reedsy Prompt: Center your story on a character who’s about to give up, or realizes that success feels unexpectedly empty.
Tim Drake held a picture in his hands. One with him, his parents, and the first Robin, though he wasn't supposed to know that.
It was only right that he gave his hero the last picture taken of his paretns and him, right?

Summary
He has to know that none of them are happy about the situation. Damian would not have agreed to leave Bruce or Alfred behind if there were any other way. As it was, with the Manor compromised, their best bet is to go hide in the safehouse, together as littermates, until the rest of their family is able to come back for them.
The only thing that kept Damian from staying behind, to fight along his Father’s side, was the knowledge that he has to step up as temporary pack alpha now. He will not force Tim to look after two puppies by himself, so he will follow their contingency plan. He will hold his baby brother and let Jason get out all of his understandable, overwhelming emotions, as he needs to. They’re in this together, they have to be.
