“Does ASU-NARO do internships?” you ask. Hiyori seemed surprised at the question; his smile faded for a second before reappearing. “Why? Do you want to do an internship?” his head tilted to the side. You nod.
“Y-- yes, I think it would be good to do an internship at a medical research company.” He slowly nods his head in understanding, “Sadly, as far I know we don’t do such things...” You frown.

Y/N works part-time at a cafe while also studying to become a doctor in college. One day, they were on their way back home but ended up getting shoved into a van instead. When woken up, they found themselves in an unfamiliar setting. Not really fun.

Your work for ASU-NARO was quite simple.
The whole organization is very passionate about the Death Game project, you’re no exception. Your work includes overseeing the AIs of the candidates, keeping their emotions and memories in check. Honest, but mundane work.
During the last preparation steps, one of your coworkers in charge of running the Death Game AI tests gave you the supposed ‘win rate percentages’ of each candidate. The results weren’t that surprising, most of them seemed reasonable. However, seeing one of them made you reconsider your involvement with the Death Game.
Because looking at the 0.0% really made you upset.
