Summary
Danielle Marsh, head counselor of the Aphrodite Cabin, had been pining for a girl for three years. As a daughter of the Goddess of Love and Beauty, Danielle had a reputation to uphold. Yet each time the head counselor of the Athena Cabin, Kang Haerin, walked by, Danielle appeared as though struck by the heart-shaped arrow of Eros. One could say she was painfully, irrevocably smitten.
Kang Haerin, in comparison, was beyond irritated at the thought of being the apple of an Aphrodite kid’s eye. Even though Danielle had two quests under her belt and was reputable in the eyes of their famed predecessors, having been selected and highly favored by former Aphrodite Cabin head counselor Piper McLean, Haerin could never view any Aphrodite kid as anything but superficial.
When Danielle happened to eavesdrop on Haerin, the former’s heartbreak triggered a river of hatred for the girl she once liked. Eros would say love and hate are closely intertwined, and Haerin is about to find out how inconsolable and dangerous a heartbroken Aphrodite kid could be.

Haerin and Danielle are inseparable, they have been since they were babies. Haerin has been in deep love with her for years. Only, Danielle is completely oblivious to her feelings. And when Danielle develops a crush on Kim Minji, she turns to the one person the trusts the most; Haerin. What begins as an innocent request on help on flirting turns into long nights with touches that linger too long and kisses that turn their lips a dark shade of red. It doesn't just stop there, though! It becomes more only more painful from that point on, as Danielle begins to rely on Haerin to navigate her romance with Minji unaware every mention of the girl breaks Haerin's heart. Determined to not lose Danielle, Haerin agrees to be the person Danielle needs, even if it means breaking her own heart.
Haerin struggles to move on the feelings she cant hide anymore, and Danielle has to meet the uncomfortable realization that the person she was looking for all along has been with her for years.
tldr; haerin does danielles dirty work by practicing kissing and danielle lowk ruins their friendship and has to repair it.
