Summary
Midoriya Izuku always wanted a quirk, but when Hisashi (also known as the villain Inferno) takes him to someone who can supposedly give him one, he has his doubts. Multiple quirks and years of abuse later, Izuku makes a few startling discoveries along the way. The man he saw as more of a father than his own pushes him away, and Izuku finally has the chance to chase his dream. He won't give up, even when he wants to.
Midoriya Izuku is Shadow, and he's going to help people one way or another. Legally or not. Even if it hurts.

Summary
Midoriya Izuku wasn't always a vigilante, sneaking around and subtly helping heroes fight. Nor was he always so talented at fighting and running, but he adapted. When his quirk failed to show, he believed himself to be quirkless until the house fire. Now with multiple quirks, Izuku realizes he doesn't want to be the next number one hero, and instead idolizes Eraserhead.

Summary
Midoriya Izuku has always been written off as weird. As if it's not bad enough to be the quirkless weakling, he has to be the weird quirkless weakling on top of it.
But truthfully, the "weird" part is the only part that's accurate. He's determined not to be a weakling, and in spite of what it says on paper, he's not actually quirkless. Even before meeting All-Might and taking on the power of One For All, Izuku isn't quirkless.
Not that anyone would believe it if he told them.
