There are rules to being a Warlord of the Sea, beholden to none but the whims of the World Government. You find that Dracule Mihawk follows precisely none of them, prone instead to following the rule of the sword above all else. This doesn't bother you as much as it probably should, most likely because you aren't the target at the end of his blade.
You never will be, either, because you are neither pirate nor Marine. That isn't to say that you spend your life eternally on the right side of the law, no. How could you say that when you even know Mihawk's preferences in the first place? To be close to a Warlord is to court insanity and walk the knife edge of legality. Not that you're particularly close to Mihawk per se but you might be the physically closest person to him in all the seas.
Someone, after all, has to keep his weapons sharp and his glass full.

Summary
Although they'd never spoken to one another before, Lily finds herself abruptly married to the Warlord Sir Crocodile. The daughter of a cobbler barely making ends meet, she can't imagine what his end game could possibly be, especially when he surely has better options. It's better than the alternative, at least - though Doflamingo has never been a gracious loser.
*Who doesn't love soft Crocodile? He's still who he is - a brilliant, manipulative, murderous warlord with a bad temper - but he gets humanized here, too, because I think it's more fun that way.
The OC here is kept generally vague in appearance so everyone can participate. Aside from being AFAB, the only physical description is that she is considerably smaller than Crocodile and sometimes has long hair. I want everyone to be able to enjoy an emotionally constipated sandman who just really likes his wife. Updates approximately once a week - more if I'm on a roll.
Undergoing updates - No major changes, but there are some alterations. Currently updated through Chapter 41.
