Demonic shenanigans have left Nero as the pack leader, something he definitely never expected when leaving Fortuna. It's alright though, they're his pack now and having a family again feels pretty good. So does the sex, if he's being honest. Just as Nero begins to really settle into his role as pack leader, his inner demon is whipped into a frenzy with being given a younger fresh-out-of-Fortuna version of himself, demanding that this new Nero by theirs in every way. Forcing Nero to cling to his sanity with the tips of his claws when he's confronted with just how much he, and his life as a whole, has changed since leaving Fortuna.

Vergil stands in the center of the lobby, back towards Dante, but despite the frigid posture, he begins to crack, and Vergil has never in his life cracked without taking someone down with him.
"I will suffer much from you— your fecklessness, your immaturity, your constant prying, but what I will not have, is your accursed pity", Vergil hisses.
Dante throws his hand in the air to dismiss the claim that’s so theatrical no one else could make it but his twin brother.
"Now you’re just being dramatic. I don't pity you one bit"Vergil slowly heals. Only, his healing always begins with another wound.
