B having to learn that they died and B will never be able to find them again and never got to say goodbye
Even worse is if B found out because the post that they saw was a eulogy posted the day after the funeral so they (to check if it was actually real, praying to every god that it was just some cruel prank) look it up only to find the footage of the accident

Summary
It's Senior Year and Craig Tucker is starting his third high school. His father moves them to the suburbs after several school expulsions and the death of Craig's mother.
No one understands Craig, and Craig doesn't understand anyone.
He hates everybody.
Craig joins a Media Studies class with a handful of other senior students, including a fascinatingly frustrating boy named Tweek Tweak - who is also new to the school.
The two are forced to pair up for a project.
Will it be a total disaster, or will the two unexpectedly understand each other and give new meaning to the term 'opposites attract'?
Note: This is the same as my other fic "Short Cuts" EXCEPT I substitute Damien for Craig and make minor edits to make it Craig and not Damien.
Doing this for the Creek lovers who would prefer to read the fic as Craig x Tweek rather than Damien x Tweek
