Princess Hisui E.Fiore was given reason to suspect there were assassins after her head. To protect his only daughter, King Toma E.Fiore chose to hire the strongest Magic Guild in the land to protect her.
What he never could've anticipated was just how well this play would work. After all, Fairies protect nothing so fiercely as one of their own. 'Jade Bloom' would have no harm come to her, while she bared the mark of a Fairy.

The council and Mirajane had reached an agreement: Lullaby would be released, but resealed and tethered to his 'jailer'.
Mirajane, already having a day and a half, was willing to do pretty much anything to delay explaining the demon on her shoulder- even beg her heated rival to fetch her a quest she could head out on immediately.

God I love this series. It's such a simple concept executed to perfection - it genuinely feels like watching a magical girl anime, but still feels like it takes place fully in Pokémons world, despite only one main character being a trainer.
Speaking of- Tenni is a gem.

O O F. I stayed up way to late binging the whole thing, cried, and then made my first WoW character then next day. Particularly like the way the meaning of the title changes throughout the story- no matter how stable things are, somethings falling.
