Summary
Set during the summer after Harry's Fifth Year. The fifteen-year-old is struggling to cope with his godfather's recent death, ridden with guilt, shame, remorse, and much internal conflict, depression looming on the horizon. The Dursleys aren't helping things either. Things take a sudden twist for the worse when the Blood Wards around Privet Drive fall, rendering Harry unsafe. What's the solution? Dumbledore arranges for Harry to stay with his most hated person after Voldemort and Umbridge: Severus Snape. In isolation. For two weeks. It goes without saying that neither wizard is pleased, and their feelings of mutual hatred are much reciprocated. And with a ticking sleep-deprived Gryffindor time-bomb, that right there is a recipe for a dangerous concoction.
Angst, hurt/comfort, emphasis on psychology and character developement. Super slice-of-life kind of story where every chapter is one day of the two weeks our two favorite characters have to spend in isolation. And the chapters are LONG. Panic attacks, stress, anxiety all based off of personal experiences. Written in third-person omniscient. Heavy emphasis on internal conflict, feelings, emotions, and learning to cope with life's shit.

Harry lunged for the photo, his bloodied nose dripping crimson onto the paper as he scrambled for something to write with. But Vernon had locked away all of Harry’s things to prevent him from contacting anyone. In desperation, Harry smeared his blood across the photo with trembling fingers, scrawling three words:
Please help me.
He signed it with a shaky, almost illegible ‘Harry’ before stumbling to Hedwig’s cage. He flung the door open and shoved the photo into her talons, his breath coming in sharp, uneven gasps. Vernon’s angry bellows grew louder as he forced the door open, splinters of wood flying into the room.
“T-take it to Professor Snape!” Harry rasped, barely able to speak through the panic and exhaustion.
Hedwig let out a distressed hoot as Harry squeezed her through the narrow bars of the window. He turned just as Vernon burst into the room, his face purple with fury, his breathing ragged.

Summary

Finally it comes to light that Voldemort's preceding silence wasn't a coincidence; he caused the epidemic himself, thus declaring war on the entire wizarding society. All those who proclaim their loyalty to Voldemort are provided with a protective serum, making them immune to the disease.
However, as all plans, this one has its failings, too. The serum progressively loses its potency, and people who receive it eventually become sick as well. But there is one person unaffected by the illness. Professor Snape remains clueless as to why Harry Potter, the only person who was present when the first disease case emerged, still remains completely healthy…
The race against time commences, even as Harry's protection becomes a challenge. Everyone wants to capture him, seeing that his blood may hold the answer to saving the wizarding world…

Summary
A sight is a sense people rely on the most. They aware of the world surrounding them thanks to sight and loss of it is very painful. Suddenly there is no colour around them, they can no longer look into another one's eyes, they cannot see any obstacles in their path. They are left alone in the dark.
With support from their closest ones, they are able to get used to it, to adjust to their handicap. But if they are left all alone, easily they become wry and bitter which often leads to resignation and wishing for death.
It is hard to acknowledge a defeat. But sometimes it is even harder to put aside one's pride, open his mind and accept a helping hand.
