Summary
The aching in gooses legs wouldn't stop. The pins were stabbing him as he laid in the hospital bed. The sweat from the warm air pushing on him like a weight. Something was wrong he knew it. He should've died. He had seen it coming.
Pretty much Goose still gets in a life threatening crash. Except he doesn't get hit on the head. Luckily him and Pete were already nearing the water except gooses parachute didn't realise in time. Making him crash into the water in a danger speed. Resulting in something that will change his life forever.

Summary
Ice is glad it looks like Maverick is going to get to fly again. But if the crash wasn’t Mav’s fault, if Goose being injured so bad he may never fly again wasn’t Mav’s fault then the only person to blame is him. Ice followed all the rules and yet. He’s not safe no matter how much the rules might make him feel like he is. And that’s a terrifying realization.
