Summary
“What is he doing here?” Billy rasps from the beaten down couch when Hopper walks through the door with Steve Harrington. Hopper heaves a heavy sigh while Steve rolls his eyes leveling Billy with an unimpressed look that makes him bristle.
“You need a comfort omega after the trauma you’ve been through. It will help.” Hopper parrots the same things the doctors had when they finally released Billy a week ago. He doesn't care for the reminder anymore now coming from Hopper's mouth then he did from the doctor’s. What does that have to do with pretty boy anyhow? If the omega in question is one of those kids that seem to hang around him Billy is going to throw a fit.
“What does that have to do with Harrington?” Billy practically growls as he searches the spaces between them looking to see who it might be. He does not catch sight of anyone hiding behind them.
“There’s a reason I’m king Hargrove and it’s not because of my keg record” Steve is smug as he steps further into the cabin.

Billy needs a comfort omega after surviving Starcourt. Steve is absolutely not who he expected Hopper to hire. He didn’t even know Steve was an omega.

“I’m just saying, objectively, I look better than those metalhead pricks,” Steve declared, gesturing at himself like he was on stage, showing off dramatics that had rubbed off on him from being in close proximity with Munson for too long. Steve’s leather jacket creaked from the gesture against the side of the car.
Robin didn’t even glance up from the passenger mirror. “You mean Munson. Again.”
Steve made a face. “Don’t say his name. He always seems to sense it. He might just pop out of a bush.”
“Oh please,” Robin rolled her eyes “You have had every class with him since pre-school, you’re practically married now.”Steve gave her a horrified look.
“Yeah, well, if he’s my husband, I want a divorce. And his guitar.”
Before Robin could tease him any further, tires squealed. A Camaro roared into the lot, drowning out the chatter with screaming guitar. Steve’s jaw clenched at the music.
“Oh not another one,” He groaned, barely audible over the music. But Robin did hear and snickered at his plight.
Then the driver stepped out.

Summary
After Hawkins is cursed by Vecna, many people have to adjust to a new normal. Unfortunately, Carol and Tommy just so happen to be back on spring break when it all goes to shit.
Now there's all these new rules to follow and no one will explain why. Travel in pairs, protect your face from the dust.
The worst one is the curfew. Neither of them understand why it exists until the very beast is right in front of them. Just when all hope is lost, their savior arrives, wearing a very familiar face.
