Summary
Sinthrae Lorrovan is a courtesan in the upper city, used to taking on clients with deep pockets, even if those pockets were filled by nefarious means. After a chance encounter with Enver Gortash, they strike up a business relationship. And for a while, that’s all it is. Slowly, despite fighting it, Sinthrae finds an emotional connection budding as well. Just as she reaches the point of no return with Enver, she finds herself awakening on a mindflayer ship with a tadpole squirming behind her eyes.
Jumps back and forth in time between the beginning of Sinthrae’s relationship with Enver and their first encounters after being infected with the tadpole.

She does her best to keep calm in this new world, trying to solve one problem at a time. Although, having the large lizard man hovering over your shoulder half the time could make things more difficult. And if she does find him cute, she can unpack that thought later.
Just a nice slow burn romance with the default Durge and a monk isekai'd Tav named Lana. What could go wrong?
