They part. Touya's eyes droop slightly. It makes no sense but Katsuki can feel the hand at his nape growing inexplicably hotter. He can also feel the growing rage in his own stomach, fury reaching all the way to the tips of his toes.

"Y'all done with your artistic contemplations?" Katsuki sneers and before anyone decides to be a smartass he lifts himself up and slams back down, watching with unhidden pleasure as Touya throws his head back.

Prom is coming. It's stupid and lame, therefor Katsuki wants nothing to do with it if he can help it; problem is, it seems not everyone got the memo.
All of Shouto's attempts to ask Katsuki out failed miserably, no matter the method. There's only one last strategy left to try, and it can't get much worse than it already is, can it?
"I need your help," he confesses quietly.
"Sure thing, man! What is it?"
On the screen, Princess Kaminari bypasses Red Hat Kirishima in an ugly move that sends him flying outside the track.
"Bro, no! why'd you do that!"
"All fair in love and war," Kaminari singsongs.
"I need your help to ask Bakugou out to prom," Shouto says in the same tone he uses to talk about everything else.
Princess Kaminari flies off the track as well.
"Say WHAT now?"

Nightmares rattle Shouto since he was five years old, but Touya-nii had told him a legend, of a creature that comes at night to devour all your fears. So he calls for him; the weird beast with the horns, elephant trunk and tiger paws, over and over.
And he comes, every time.
The beast moves closer to him. The longer it touches Shouto the more the heat spreads through his body; and when their foreheads meet, a slow wave of calm settles over his mind. His body sags back into the sheets, and just before sleep takes him back in her arms, this time without hints of terror - he thinks about how the creature is actually pretty small, about Shouto's height when he stands. He wants to thank it, his palm closing over tiger fur, and his mind drifts into the abyss.
