Luxanna "Lux" Crownguard, one who serves in the shadow of Demacia's throne, has been given a mission into the depths of Zaun's sump. For nearly ten years, as the chem-barons consolidate their power, as Shimmer corrupts everything it touches, and as the Nation of Zaun struggles to be born, a monster has lurked in Piltover's undercity.
A monster that cries out, asking for help, begging for someone to help "find her", and who paints her chemical prison with the blood of those who are not "compatible".
Atoning for a mistake with what is clearly a suicide mission, Lux finds herself in a whole new war, with a weapon and friend she'd never imagined. Perhaps, in time, she can help this lost soul find more than "her".
