Summary
Nathaniel's lost everything. After burning his mother's remains on a beach in California, he flees to Colombia, South Carolina, in an attempt to escape his father's wrath. After running for so long, he makes the reckless decision to stay for a month to rest and catch his breath. His original plan was to stay hidden and attend high school like a normal teenager, but a pair of blond twins won't allow it.
Not only does he have his father chasing his tail, but the reality that his secondary gender is about to manifest which could change the very trajectory of his life. Unfortunately for Nathaniel, now Neil, those are just a couple of the problems coming his way.
"I fucking hate you," Andrew said, no visible animosity to his words.
"I know," Neil answered. "But you're here still."
"Blame Aaron."
"If knew I needed help, Aaron would've come himself."
Andrew looked at Neil with a darkness settling over his eyes. If Neil thought Andrew was capable of expressing emotions other than anger and apathy, he would've thought that look was one of jealousy.
