“That note… what, or, why did you write it? Did you ever plan to… you know…” He couldn’t bring himself to say it out loud. The thought alone shattered him, Sebastian actively wanting to not exist, living in a world without Sebastian?
“Yeah, I guess.” He paused. “Not often, not really. It was only one time.” Sam’s eyes shot open, staring at the other.
“What? You mean, you almost…”
“Yes, no, I don’t know how it would’ve gone. I try not to think about it. It’s kind of funny, really. If it weren’t for you…” Sam rubbed his thumb along Sebastian’s knuckles, trying to help keep the other grounded.
“What do you mean?”
“Well, it’s kinda a long story.”
“That’s ok. Do you want to tell it?”

Summary
It was tradition for whoever was the oldest had to be “in charge” of The Nest. The people before him had left, but he was 13 now, and needed to keep this place alive.
The Nest was a place for the shunned from society to collect and have somewhere to go. It wasn’t a nice place; there were cracks in the walls, leaks in the ceiling, but it was good enough for an abandoned apartment. Many of the people who went there were quirkless, some with “villainous” quirks, others just kids who needed a place to stay. Anyone who needed a home was welcome here. Midoriya liked that. It was a safe place for everyone, regardless of quirk status. Those don't exist nowadays.
On the side, Midoriya did a little vigilanteism. Only a little. But when he sees a small kid with bright blue hair in need of help and a new purple haired kid ready to help, what do they do?
And what does he do when the small kid needs to get adopted and have a home, when he can’t?

Summary
Yamada just opened up a radio show, and is having people call in for the first time. After the first couple of calls, he gets a regular little listener. Yamada love’s hearing what the kid had to say. He always had something. So after months of consistent calling, and a couple weeks go by without the Little Listener calling, Present Mic thinks he has the right to be worried. When a concerning call come through with the Little Listener on the other side not sounding the best, Mic sends out a rescue mission to save the kid. He didn’t know what horrible things he’d find.

The soon-to-be-employee (there was no doubt in his mind that he’d be an employee soon; how could he not?) snapped his head up at the sound of a panicked shout from across the lobby. He reached out and pushed his hand in between the elevator doors, keeping them open until the figure entered. The second he did, he quickly retracted his hand and studied it for any grime. Eugh, gross, who knows what these doors have seen.

The protagonist's coworker was a newbie too, at one point. And so, bright-eyed and ready to take on any challenge he comes across with ease, he gets on the elevator to get to his interview in a timely manner. Things do not go as planned.
