Summary
This story is inspired by the incredible #CelestialAU world brought to life by the talented team of @ajulexcelestial on Twitter. As well by the prompt challenge of #Sheratober by @dontgoproject, when this all started.
This is a co-creation with my talented friend JuxtaposedNova, who never gave up on me nor the story even when we had weeks without writing.
Hope you enjoy!Catra was enjoying her time in the palace at the Silver City, spending her unlimited days between luxurious traits and tedious responsabilities now that she had taken over as headmaster of Heaven after Mara´s retirement. But something never ceased to bother her, like a hammer constantly hitting the back of her head, something was missing, besides great portion of her memories.
Until, one day one of her servants brought to her unpleansant news: Hell had broken loose. Nothing should have upset her more than that, except the name of the leader behind the chaos, a name she thought she had never heard before, but her heart said otherwise: Adora.
It was time to meet her long lost lover again.

Summary

Catra easily gains recognition as she makes the new campus her playground, but not the good kind. The golden child popular kid Adora gets assigned to watch over her for the remainder of the year. Constantly butting heads, Adora marks this year as one of the worst she’s ever had, but quickly learns that there’s more that meets the eye for the trouble student.

The friend group scrambles to find a replacement "girlfriend" so that Adora doesn't have to lose her deposit and miss out on the week of fun in the sun with her friends that she was promised - which she obviously needs now, more than ever, on the heels of her breakup - and Scorpia finds a friend of hers willing to pretend to be Adora's girlfriend so that she can get a half price vacation, even if it means sharing a room with only one bed. The only problem? This friend of Scorpia's is absolutely gorgeous... and a complete and total asshole. But they have to keep up the act, or ruin the whole trip.

On holiday for their first wedding anniversary, Adora picks up a cool looking rock. That night, while things get hot and heavy between her and Catra, the rock reacts to a flippant wish Adora makes. "I wish I had more hands." When Catra blinks after a blinding light knocks them apart, she realizes with shock that Adora and She-Ra have been separated.
Of course they're going to take advantage of this, because Catra has definitely had this very specific type of fantasy, and when Adora and She-Ra both race to see who can make her come the most times, how could she possibly say no?

“Fine,” Adora grunts, tugging off her jersey, “but only if we can talk about what happened at semi-finals.” That memory seems to slow Catra down, and Adora finally feels like she has the upper hand in the conversation as Catra’s tail stops swaying, lowering timidly behind her. Stripping off her sports bra and the final layers of her clothing, she can’t help but notice how Catra is staring off into some lockers.

They point to a small table across the banquet hall with four people sitting at it. There’s a muscular blonde woman with large purple veins covering her exposed arms, a pale man with blue hair and pointy ears, a woman wearing a long robe and a mask that covers her entire face, and a man with white slicked-back hair that goes down to his shoulders. All four of them have red eyes and very sharp fangs.
It’s then that Catra hears Double Trouble speak again, “Those are the Horde representatives. They’re all vampires.”
Catra turns back to them, “What’s the Horde? And what’s… a vampire?”

Catra had resigned herself to this life with a sort of detached acceptance.

Now Catra's a junior partner at a law firm handling a patent dispute for Adora's family company. The two of them have to re-enter the other's life in an attempt for closure, catharsis, and connection.
