THIS STORY IS ON SEMI HIATUS
Every waking moment of Steve’s life is filled with a sudden, unsettling feeling. Eyes, always eyes on the back of his head, boring down his back and peering into his mind, under his skin, inside his veins. It was scary at first, a nuisance second--when no one took it seriously, and a wave of relief thirdly, when the pair of staring eyes had a face.
AKA: Kas Theory Eddie can’t let go of Steve. He waits in the man’s shadow, hoping to reunite somehow. Things don’t go very smoothly…
So a fair warning: This takes place after the last episode, (which I’ve only seen half of), where no one’s made any moves, both sides are at a stand still—recovering

Summary
Steve Harrington came back to an empty house that night, as he was used to doing. But things were different now. Max Mayfield was in critical condition, and Eddie Munson was dead. At least, that's what he thought.
This fic starts right after the events with Vecna, starting that night and continuing into the two day time skip. This is a mirrored fic with @lethargicWaste 's fic "Feel Like I Am Human Again." This is Steve's pov, they are writing Eddie's pov. We intended for the reader to alternate between chapters while reading (for example, read my chapter one, then read their chapter one, and continue on like that. or vice versa.) This is not necessary, if you would prefer to wait and read all of one you totally can, but things will make more sense if you read both POVs the way we intended. Especially as this is Steve's POV, and Eddie's gives a lot of needed context into what he is.
