When a new person moves into the apartment below Jason's, he thought nothing of it. It would just be another person he'd undoubtedly receive minor noise complains from due to his outings as Red Hood at late hours. And when it didn't stop, they too would either move to a different area or switch apartments. Maybe he should feel bad for the person, but he doesn't—it's not his fault that returns to his apartment all bruised up and exhausted to the point of him giving no shit about masking his footsteps. It would just be another regular occurrence for him to have his downstairs neighbor file a noise complain against him.
But when two months pass and he hasn't received a single noise complaint, he gets curious. He decided to figure out what made this one different—did they just work late hours? Were they an insomniac? Or, god forbid, a rogue in the making? He hoped not. It would be a hassle to deal with if they were.
When he accidentally runs into a petite woman with long ivory blonde hair that reached her hips and with the most mind boggling eyes—what color were they even?—he has no idea what to think of her except, 'she has nice taste'. With a copy of one of his favorite books in her hand, his interest was piqued.
